When Julep’s 2007 nail product launch had grown, by 2014, into hundreds of new products being released in a single year, the packaging quickly took on several looks and lives of its own—causing the brand to lose its core visual identity. We were engaged to bring a singular, branded look and feel to the packaging. By leveraging Julep’s tone of voice, bringing the “talk bubble” front and center, and focusing on the brand colors to maintain playfulness while adding sophistication, Julep re-launched in October 2015 and is quickly becoming a brand consumers not only love but a beauty brand women truly connect with.
