LA.Eater published “A Handy Guide to LA’s Best Cookies” lists which included two of our favorites, Stella Barra and Chocovivo! Nothing beats Stella Barra’s pizza! This local Hollywood pizzeria not only serves some of the best slices but also bakes the most ridiculously yummy cookies in town, we can’t help ourselves!

ChocoVivo, the Culver City based chocolate factory, not only creates their own chocolate from bean to bar, but was also a featured partner in our Holiday shipping campaign for Avery. Check out the campaign below!

We love this post by! New York photographer Justin Bettman and stylist Gozde Eker have created unique sets right on the sidewalks of New York City inviting everyone to shoot their own photos and share them on instagram with the hashtag #setinthestreet. One of their more recent sets that they built was created for one of their followers Jose Luis who wrote to Justin asking him to build a set so that he could propose to his girlfriend. Our designer Ash and BIRDdog Moose have now been in Europe for nine months (how the time flies!). In between designing ad campaigns and rebrands, they’ve spent their winter playing in the snow and enjoying the old architecture. And while these migrating BIRDs have thoroughly enjoyed their first real winter, they are looking forward to the coming sunshine and warmth of spring.

Follow along with their adventures at itsamonroe and BIRDlosangeles on instagram, and at #BIRDmigrations on BIRD media.

Our Senior Designer, Jose and Gregory Tarasov have one thing in common, they both are keen for adventure.

In an effort to reach the hottest start-ups in San Francisco with’s all-in-one solution for beautifully simple customer service, BIRD created an eye-catching out of home campaign. The takeover included digital billboards on the Bay Bridge to newsstands and bus shelters along Market. It was a pleasure working with the team at and highlighting their loyal partners like Sound Cloud and Munchery. Our continuing work with the Salesforce family is always a good time.

Jose's adventure gear!

Last Friday we bon-voyaged our senior designer and resident music tastemaker, Jose. He is now off on the sabbatical adventure of a lifetime, backpacking through New Zealand and wherever else the South Pacific wind takes him. We’ll miss you around the nest, Jose, and we wish you safe travels and the best of luck on your journey!

You can join us in following Jose’s adventures on instagram @eyeofjose and on BIRD media at #BIRDmigrations

Our good friend, Sage Vaughn is being featured on February’s cover of Juxtapoz.

We are so pleased to announce that we have received a bronze 2014 Addy for the digital advertising campaign, “I am my business.” which we developed for Avery. It was rewarding to have the opportunity to tell the personal stories of local small businesses and how Avery products played a role in their success. Did we also mention this campaign had 3.4 million video views, 47 million impressions and 70,000 clicks? We are thrilled the message was so well received by critics and consumers alike!

A few months ago, one of our BIRD designers moved to Luxembourg, a small country at the crossroads of Western Europe. She is continuing to work with us remotely while she’s living abroad. Keep an eye out for her design and travel experiences under #BIRDmigrations.

Without further ado, here is Ash with a little background on her new country:

At the beginning of summer, I got to fulfill one of my life dreams and move to Europe. The country of Luxembourg is very small and quaint, and because of its central location is the perfect place for wanderlusters. I live in the capital city of Luxembourg, which is a wonderful amalgamation of old and new. The city’s original fortifications are still standing, woven through modern architecture and high-rises. And everywhere you look, there is good graphic design. The city of Luxembourg particularly has a well-developed and vibrant identity system that pops up all over: way finding, written materials, products, interactive design.

It’s been a marvelous first few months, and I’ll check in every now and then to share more of my experiences. Au revoir!
